Creating presentations via an outline is tedious task because the user has to structure the content and ensure the first shot is good. Right now, structuring content is a hassle because the doc feels like it's just plain text and I don't get to perform any rich text editing i.e. Header 1, 2, 3, then add bullets, etc. I pasted the screenshot where either we have a fixed panel that stays on screen as the user scrolls down to edit, or use the "/" command inside the doc to open up a floating panel and perform the edits needed. Medium and Notion do a fantastic job at this.
