Edit on the go
Mobile web editing is now live for everyone. You can edit your decks on your phone through the browser, with the same agent-powered experience you get on desktop.
The editor got a reliability sweep
A batch of fixes landed across the editor this week. Highlights include filmstrip copy/paste working again on Safari, comment subscriptions updating across browser tabs without a refresh, and right-arrow navigation working properly inside emoji and mention popups. Plus several other stability improvements across the board.
SVG images in exports finally work everywhere
The "red X" issue when opening Gamma exports in Google Slides or Keynote is fixed. SVG images now embed correctly, so your exported decks look right no matter where they're opened. File sizes are smaller too.
Export quality keeps getting better
Eight more fixes landed for PPTX, PDF, and Google Slides exports. The biggest ones: special characters in font names no longer corrupt files, right-aligned text no longer shifts in PPTX, and charts and diagrams now render at the right size.
A smoother editing and presenting experience
Nine fixes across the editor and presenter view are live. Callout colors are correct in dark mode again, copy/paste between filmstrip cards no longer breaks card structure, and the presenter view now has twelve font size zoom levels for easier room presentations. Two new denser smart layout sizes also shipped.
A security fix for API access
API keys created by removed workspace members now stop working when that person leaves. Previously, a removed user could still authenticate to the public API with their old key, and that is no longer the case.
Claude and ChatGPT connectors just got smarter
The Gamma connectors for Claude and ChatGPT now follow your instructions more reliably, including naming decks, setting card counts, applying brand colors, and more. They also check your plan before generating, so you spend less time hitting limits you didn't see coming.
API delete is here
You can now delete decks through the Gamma public API. Available to workspace admins only, with built-in rate limits for peace of mind.
Export fixes across the board
Five improvements to PPTX, PDF, and Google Slides exports are live, including background colors that now export correctly, better page sizing, icons that stay visible, text that stays in its container, and cleaner page boundaries.
Build richer layouts with 6 columns
Your layouts just got more breathing room. Arrange content across up to 6 columns to match your brand templates and create more dynamic, structured designs.
Your fonts travel with your cards now
Custom fonts are now fully embedded in your PowerPoint exports. Share your ideas in the fonts you chose.
Remix imported content
You can now bring your own content directly into the remix flow - paste it in and watch Gamma transform it into something beautiful. No more starting from scratch when you've already done the hard work.
Consistent styled images are here
This allows generating a deck with consistent illustrations, photo, or abstract styles, with a suggested style based on your topic. Every image in your presentation - illustrations, photos, or abstract art - now fits together like it was designed that way.
Brainstorm, generate, and edit images in chat
Imagine just got a whole lot smarter. Chat your way from blank-page uncertainty to a finished visual without ever leaving the conversation. Brainstorm ideas back and forth with the agent, generate images from a simple prompt, and edit anything on your canvas using natural language. Your entire canvas is now in view, so the agent can see, reason about, and refine everything you're working on.
Dark mode now extends to the theme panel
Your entire editing experience just got darker, in the best way. The theme panel in the editor now fully respects dark mode, so you can design late into the night without a blinding flash of white. More dark mode surfaces are on the way.
Gamma has supported code blocks for a while, but the code inside them was just plain text. No color, no contrast, no fun.
Many of you have asked for syntax highlighting over the years, and it's actually something we prototyped three years ago but never shipped. Today it's finally here.
Code blocks now have automatic syntax highlighting built in across 30 supported languages, making them easier to read and a lot nicer to share. It works for both light and dark themes. To try it out, add a code block to any card, paste in your code, and select your language from the menu.

You can now use color gradients on card backgrounds!
You can now:
- Set a gradient as your default backgroundon all cards
- Add gradients to your theme palette, and use them on any card
Available now in the 🎨 theme editor!
