Different design for Written slides/ Presentation slides
Anson Chin
Thanks for building such a great product. Really enjoy it.
As an ex-mgmt consultant in BCG, I would like to give you guys some small feedback:
Especially in Asia, the format of written slides you send to collegues as a project summary, is usually very different from the slides you use for presentation. In written slides, fonts are small, full of content, with reasoning details. Because it's usually sent to read without presenting. And you might refer to some corporate slides in traditional industry(like telecom) in China.
Presentation slides, on the other hands, is always big result numbers/charts. Especially in finance industry or tech product release day(Steve jobs style), it's powerful with simple message, and filled with transition animations.
If you can further deeper this part, I do believe your product will be more popular in Asia 2B sales, which is probably more scalable and profitable than 2C business.

got it. We just released a 'small' font size and a 'large' font size in page setup that should help with this!

Maybe not just font size.
For me, presentation slides, only need title, key slogan, quotes, or something like some short phrases that represents the idea. Sometimes just 3 big icons with vocabs or just a quote might be strong enough to deliver the message. The rest should be in speaking notes.
Written slides, on the other hand, need content to explain the reasoning behind, and maybe also some case study/ example/ illustration, to make it clear without verbal explanation.

hi Anson Chin, thanks for the feedback. When you say "deeper into this part" are you referring to making our slides product better at the dense text slides, or visual graphics?

I mean, the template could be divided by dense word version or less word version.
Let me share more examples with you on Monday then.
