What's the point of templates if the AI is just going to change it anyways

You should make it so elements can be locked so the AI can't change it, or maybe the other way around where elements must be marked as editable by AI. Just paid 25 dollars to try the template feature and after all the pain to make a template the AI just went and changed most of it anyways.
