Have you guys changed models? The outputs I'm receiving now are vastly inferior to 5.6 sol with OpenAI and definitely inferior to your prior work...and it's frustrating because gamma used to one-shot the design, layout, etc so effectively that I could almost export and roll with it...now it feels like the outputs and theme control are subject to some throttled version of a model...This is even more frustrating because I depend on you for quick turnarounds of proposals within brand standards and industry-specific imagery

Hi Joel, I fully agree. I’ve been using Gamma for at least two years, and when I first discovered it, I was genuinely in awe.
What concerns me now is how much time I spend modifying, regenerating and adjusting outputs that previously seemed to come together remarkably well from the start.
With AI progressing so rapidly, you would expect the experience to improve. Perhaps it’s model/image costs, or perhaps the application has simply become over-engineered. I could be wrong, but something has clearly changed in the user experience.
I’m now actively looking at alternative platforms, which I never expected to be doing.
Gamma, if you’re listening, hire us. 😄 Sometimes the best AI strategy isn’t adding more AI, it’s simplifying what’s already there and getting back to the fundamentals that made the product great.

Hey Joel Hungate, sorry you’re running into this. I can see how a drop in quality and theme control would be brutal if you’re relying on Gamma for fast, on-brand proposals. I’ll pass this to the team.
Quick couple questions so we can make this actionable:
1) What specifically feels worse now: layout choices, writing quality, brand/theme adherence, or the industry-specific imagery?
2) Do you have one example prompt (and the theme/brand setup you used) that used to one-shot well but now comes out off, plus roughly when you noticed the change?
