Tool fails to follow instructions to create a process flowchart

In spite of multiple repeated attempts, the diagramming tool failed to generate the flowchart that it was instructed to build.

I was trying to build a swimlane diagram. The tool kept making mistakes regarding very specific instructions for activities to be in certain swimlanes and the arrows connecting which activities. I tried multiple times to iterate with the tool asking very simple corrections (connect A to C, instead of A to B). The tool kept responding that it had made the corrections but it didn’t. I asked the tool if it could see that it didn’t follow instructions and every time it ack’d that there was a mistake but failed to fix it no matter how many times I asked.
The look & feel of the diagrams are awesome, but the tool is useless if it cannot build what the user needs, not make simple corrections. You guys should also work on making the diagrams editable in PPT, Lucidchart, Visio, etc. so the user can make minor tweaks when needed.

Ah that’s frustrating, sorry it wouldn’t follow your flowchart instructions. When you get a sec, can you share (1) the exact prompt/instructions you used and what it generated instead, and (2) whether you were aiming for a specific format like swimlanes vs a simple decision tree (plus any must-have steps/branches)? I’ll pass this along to the team.
