The generator no longer respects my division of content into individual slides

Recently, the generator does not respect the prompt when it comes to how I've told it to split content. It is combining slides and using content from previous or later slides on slides where I did not include that content. Previously, when I pasted in text and split it into slides, the generator always rigidly respected my breakdown, but it has recently stopped. I prefer when it followed my instructions.

Hey Rebekah Hawthorne, thanks for the super clear writeup. That sounds really frustrating, especially if it used to reliably respect your slide-by-slide breakdown. I’ll pass this along to the team.
Quick couple questions so we can make this actionable:
1) How are you indicating the slide splits in your pasted text (blank lines, “Slide 1/2” headers, --- separators, etc)?
2) When it merges content, is it usually merging adjacent slides only, or does it pull in content from non-adjacent sections too?

Nik Payne (Gamma design) When in the prompt editor, I use the slide-by-slide option. I split the content across however many slides I need, but when it generates, it does not respect the division provided in the prompt. It sometimes merges adjacent slides and it sometimes grabs content from multiple slides earlier or later in the prompt and adds that content to a slide where it's not supposed to appear.
