Show card/slide numbers throughout the UI

At present, card/slide numbers only show in the filmstrip on the left of the editing UI. The number does not appear in the center on the cards themselves or in the notes area when opened on the right. This makes it hard to sometimes jump to a specific number or be sure what number you are on.

Love the super fast response, thanks. The tools are amazing so far. I'm no designer but I would think it would work well to appear in the lower left corner of the card the same way it does on the Filmstrip. Even more crucial to add to the Notes panel up near where the title of the slide is shown. BTW, the reason this is important is because of how the UI works when navigating to different slides from the Filmstrip. I know Google Slides for example only shows the slide number in the Filmstrip. But in Gamma, when I click a thumbnail in the Filmstrip, it does not automatically jump to the card in full. Visually you see it but the card is not in focus as active without a second click. In the same way, the notes panel does not advance until you do that. So I found myself jumping to a specific card to edit the notes but finding that I was still looking at the notes for the prior card I was on. Hope that helps. Thanks

Totally hear you — hunting for “slide 17” when the only numbers live in the left filmstrip is kinda annoying. Quick q’s so we can design this right:
- Where would you want the number to show up most: on the card itself (top/bottom), in the notes panel header, or both?
- Is your main workflow “jump to a specific slide number” (like from an agenda / script), or just “always know where I am” while editing?
If you’ve got a sec, a screenshot or quick Loom of your ideal placement (or an example from another tool that nails this) would be super helpful.
