Please to not display an external link warning, unknown link
도연 김
They say it's dangerous when an external link is connected. If this happens, customers won't be able to leave a lead; if it works well until now and it comes out like this, you can't use everything you've worked on.
The external link is intended to collect customer leads, and personal information consent is also obtained.
I'm using Gamma because it doesn't have a function to collect leads and even send notifications.
Gamma doesn't have a lead collection function, so please don't let the warning appear

Allow disabling the external link warning popup (exit popup)

Currently, when a user clicks on an external link from a Gamma page, a warning popup appears indicating that they are leaving Gamma.
While this may be useful in some contexts, it creates a major issue for business and marketing use cases.
In particular, when using Gamma as a landing page or VSL page within a sales funnel, this popup introduces unnecessary friction and can significantly reduce conversion rates.
From a user perspective:
It creates doubt and breaks trust at a critical moment (e.g. before a purchase or signup)
It interrupts the flow and emotional momentum built on the page
It can give the impression that the destination is unsafe, even when it is not
From a business perspective:
It negatively impacts conversions on checkout pages, booking pages, and forms hosted on external tools
It limits Gamma’s use as a true front-end tool for funnels and modern marketing stacks
Suggested solution:
Add an option to disable this warning popup
Or allow it to be disabled when using a custom domain
Or whitelist specific trusted domains
Why this matters:
Many users are starting to use Gamma as a high-converting, design-first alternative to traditional landing page builders. Removing this friction would significantly expand Gamma’s use cases in marketing and sales.
Thank you!

Hey Manuel, this is super thoughtful feedback, thank you for laying out the funnel + conversion impact so clearly. I’m going to pass this to the team.
Quick couple questions so we can scope the right control:
1) In your ideal world, is this a per-link setting, per-Gamma page, or a workspace-wide toggle?
2) If we did a “disable on custom domain” or “whitelist domains” option, what are the top 3 domains you’d want to allow (Stripe, Calendly, Typeform, etc)?

Thanks Nik Payne (Gamma design) , really appreciate you looking into this.
Here’s what would be ideal from my perspective:
1) Level of control
The most important thing would be a page-level toggle, with an optional workspace default
Reason:
In most cases, Gamma pages are used as part of a funnel, and the intent (allowing external navigation) is consistent across the whole page. Managing this per link would be too heavy and error-prone.
That said, having a workspace default (on/off) would be great for consistency across multiple funnels.
2) Domain handling (very important)
From Gamma’s perspective, a feature that disables the exit popup when subscribing to a custom domain could also potentially increase upsells (personally, I would upgrade my account for that).
A whitelist system would be extremely valuable too.
In my case, I redirect users to an external checkout hosted on Learnybox/Learnypay (since I operate from Mauritius and need a compatible payment provider).
So my priority would be:
- Learnybox (forms and/or checkout)
- Potentially other tools like Calendly/Iclosed (booking)
Key point:
These are trusted, intentional steps in the funnel — not random external links. The current warning creates unnecessary friction at the most critical moment (conversion).
Ideal setup (best case):
- Disable warning at the page level
- Optional domain whitelist for added control
This would make Gamma much more usable as a true front-end layer for funnels and modern marketing stacks.
Thanks again — this feature would have a direct and significant impact on conversion.

Gamma leider nix für's Online Business
Meike Hohenwarter
Sehr, sehr schade.

Hey Meike. Totally understand the frustration. We have been dealing with a lot of spam and abuse which is why we scan links, and unfortunately we use third party libraries that may not be complete
I've passed your feedback along to our trust and safety team

weird warning message

Is there a reason you give the warning message when clicking a link. I am using a website for a landing page and I don't want my leads to see that warning message. How can we fix this.
