Please provide the ability to autoplay, or even better, autoplay the first 5 seconds of a video on loop
Harry Berg
Many of us are trying to build "video sales letter" landing pages, where the fold contains a video. When this video is already playing, it massively increases the chance that the user will watch it, which is incredibly impactful on conversions.

From Community: Request for Autoplay Feature in Streamalive for Trade Shows
Lux Narayan
Hello from the US Distance Learning Association annual conference in Cleveland. We have a booth here with a monitor and I wanted to demo Streamalive’s capability in Gamma and PowerPoint. For this I’ve created a presentation that has regular Gamma slides and Streamalive embedded Gamma slides. I would like to have my deck auto play and move from slide to slide without any user input so that it captures attention especially when we are not in our booth. I could not find an autoplay option. Am I missing something? If not please consider this a request to add something. Would be amazing for trade shows and events. Here’s a screenshot of the PPT equivalent: <https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ya3ynnegrm97i2cyiwefd/Screenshot-2026-06-23-at-7.35.09-AM.png?rlkey=qdwgrflbpqib29yp3xgxhu4y2&dl=0>

Hey Lux Narayan, love the super concrete trade show use case and thanks for the screenshot. I don’t think you’re missing anything here, autoplay isn’t something we currently surface, but I’ll pass this request to the team.
Quick question so we spec it right: when you say autoplay, do you need it to loop continuously (kiosk mode), and should each slide advance on a fixed timer you set (like 10s/20s per slide)?

Automatic Video Playback
Paolo Schianchi
Enable the ability for embedded videos to automatically start playing when their respective slides are active during a Gamma presentation, or at least implement functionality to respect and utilize autoplay parameters within embedded video URLs (e.g., YouTube's ?autoplay=1), allowing for automatic video playback in presentations.

Thanks Paolo! Good suggestion

Movies fullscreen
Marco van Thiel
Hi, I would like to add video's that can play fullscreen in the presentation.
I would prefer to upload video's but I can imagine that the storage capacity then is expanding to much. Therefore I will upload video's to Youtube, an embedded youtube video I would like to be able to play immediately when the slide is opened, and preferably play fullscreen or have an option to make it play fullscreen.
your competitor Powerpoint is much less visually interesting, but does provide these functionalities

I want to autoplay video, have tried every integration and possible block (video, webpage embed, etc) and always needs to show a play option etc, most need to popup or open in new tab. I just want to be able to play and loop videos, perhaps play on load when scrolling down..

For presentations autoplay of video would be really useful

Autoplay Video feature
Stephen Moore
Please add a feature where we can upload a video directly to the site with an autoplay option as soon as you load the website. This would give it such an expert over the top professional feel.

Hi Harry Berg, it looks like Wistia embeds may support this. I just came across this gamma site poppy.ai using a video with a preview

Thanks Harry Berg. I don't know that we'll be able to prioritize this right now, but I cut a ticket to look into it.
It looks like youtube's documentation says you can autoplay via a URL parameter (
&autoplay=1
) but I tested it in our product and it didn't work.Harry Berg
Nik Payne (Gamma design) to enable autoplay, you must also mute
