I would love to see
native, reliable logo placement in Studio Mode
, using the exact logo uploaded to the Brand Kit.Currently, my logo works correctly when I create presentations using Classic Generation, but it does not reliably appear in Studio Mode.
Gamma Support explained that because Studio Mode generates slides as images, the generated image can cover logos added through headers or footers. The suggested alternatives are either:
* Use Classic Generation instead, or
* Ask the AI to incorporate the logo as a visual reference.
Unfortunately, neither solution really solves the problem.
For professional and branded presentations, the logo needs to be the
exact original brand asset
, not an AI interpretation of it. And switching back to Classic Generation means losing the advantages that make Studio Mode attractive in the first place.### Suggested solution
Allow Studio Mode to place Brand Kit logos as a
separate persistent layer above the AI-generated slide image
.Ideally, users could:
* Select an exact logo from their Brand Kit.
* Set its position, size, margin, and opacity.
* Apply it globally to all slides.
* Lock the logo layer so AI regeneration does not modify or cover it.
* Keep the logo intact when individual slides are regenerated.
* Preserve the exact logo in PDF and PowerPoint exports.
* Optionally define different logo placements for light and dark backgrounds.
### Why this matters
This is not only a cosmetic feature. It directly affects production efficiency for businesses, educators, agencies, and creators using Gamma for branded presentations.
In my case, I currently have to ask my designer to manually add or correct logos after creating presentations in Studio Mode. This creates unnecessary work, slows down production, and makes Studio Mode less practical for repeated professional use.
Since Gamma already supports reliable logo placement in Classic Generation, having
Brand Kit parity in Studio Mode
would remove an important limitation from what is otherwise an excellent presentation workflow.I have been trying to solve this for several months, initially assuming it was a configuration issue on my side. Gamma Support has now confirmed that this is currently a limitation of Studio Mode.
I would strongly appreciate seeing this added to the Studio roadmap.

Totally get why an AI “interpretation” of a logo is a non-starter for real branded work, and I’ll pass this along to the team as a clear request for Brand Kit parity in Studio Mode (persistent logo layer above the generated slide image, preserved through regen + exports).
Quick question so we can make it actionable: when you say “logo doesn’t reliably appear,” is it mainly getting covered after a regeneration, missing in exports (PDF/PPT), or both? If you’ve got one example deck where it happens consistently, that’d help us validate the behavior fast.
