Paste in table

When I'm in "create with AI" and I select "Paste in text", I would like to be able to paste in a table (most likely from Confluence) and have Gamma keep it in a table format.

Hey Colleen Ann, thanks for the super clear request. Keeping pasted Confluence tables as actual tables in the “Paste in text” flow makes a ton of sense, I’ll pass this to the team.
Quick couple questions so we get it right:
1) When you paste from Confluence, are you copying the rendered table or the underlying wiki/markdown source?
2) What’s the ideal outcome for you: preserve the table structure exactly, or is “rows/columns stay intact” good even if styling changes?
