It would be helpful if you added a layers features so that I can move content to the back and overlay content to customize objects (or enable the AI to edit the layout. I had thought this would work the way that lovable.dev does, but clearly it does not. It takes a lot of Q&A to get the AI to produce what you want, and it just keeps falling short.

For instance: I'm trying to create a cycle graph where the icon that says maze on it that's in the lower left is in the center of the cycle. There is neither a way to do this through the AI or a workaround.

Without the ability to change text size, or use AI to assist... it's a much worse tool than any standard presentation tool.

I often have tabluar data that shows frequency of two-dimensional data. For example, if I have a list of employees with job title and years of experience, I'd love to generate a grid heatmap showing years of experience on one axis, level of seniority on the other, and each box contains a number

you HAVE to have a basic diagram for an org chart... it's too common of a use case and in its current form it is cumbersome to create in Gamma.
