When the subsites I reference in the main site are set to open in independent tabs, then it works. But.... when I am trying to change the "open in new tabs" to "expand", I get an error.

I want to open the file: "Timeline of Entire Series" as an expand and not as a tab:

However, I sadly only receive the following error.... do you know why?

The current setting is to open in a new tab because it works. What do I need to do to make it expand instead (and make it WORK as Expand!!)?
