Merge two gammas or documents into one
Guilherme G.A.M.P.
I would like a way to merge documents that were generated separately.

Hi-I have had some really issues with the copy paste function, is there an easier way to do this?
Murray Wilkinson
So because I can only create 50 slides at once I had to split my document (122 pages total) into 3 sections. This was all fine until i tried to join them together in Gamma! I scrolled down to the bottom of document 1 and cut and copied doc 2 in, then scrolled down to the bottom of that document and joined document 3 on. Sounds simple, however now the sequence is all out of order and I am bamboozled where to start to stitch it back together in order, can you help?
Alison (Design @ Gamma)
Hey Murray Wilkinson — that definitely sounds confusing!
A couple questions:
- When you split it, were the three documents sequential (ex: slides 1-30, 31-60, 61-90)?
- When you pasted the cards in, did they paste out of order at the bottom of your doc?
Murray Wilkinson
Alison (Design @ Gamma) Hi Alison, Ive done it again and what happened this time is that it pasted the same content twice, so Ive given it a rest (wondering of it might be broadband speed), ill go and try again and message you back
Murray Wilkinson
Alison (Design @ Gamma)HI again Alison, I've managed it this time after a couple of attempts. There is definitely an issue when you are editing larger documents, just as an Fyi :-)
Alison (Design @ Gamma)
Murray Wilkinson: Ah, glad to hear you got it working— sorry it was so troublesome! We also have this copy card to feature — you can select the cards, right click, and then search for the gamma you'd like to add the cards to. I'll flag the bugginess with the team, there's definitely room for performance improvements!
Murray Wilkinson
Alison (Design @ Gamma) OK thanks Alison, can you let the tech guys know that the issue seems to be that the "copied cards" wouldn't clear off "the clipboard" (if thats even a thing :-0) so as a result I kept copying the same cards then to make matters worse the second set of cards then got involved and mixed things up even more. Fortunately I had created a duplicate (good feature that) so not all was lost. Anyway...your software is awesome, so happy with it. Images could do with getting some work but I just replaced the odd ones with my own libruary ones. oh and btw, it all exports to PDF just fine. Best-Murray

Fusionner des gammas

Bonjour,

Nik Payne (Gamma design)
It is possible though
Nik Payne (Gamma design)
hi Alexandre S. Vieira. Yes, right now the only way to do this is to copy all cards from one gamma and paste them into another gamma
