Love this program but the lag time is terrible

The program is slow and jumpy. Doens't allow for easy free flow of ideas or toggle between pages. Highlights and adds text slowly and often jumps between pages without warning.

Ah yeah, that sounds super frustrating. When it gets slow and starts jumping around it totally kills the flow.
A couple quick questions so we can pass something actionable to the team:
1) Where are you seeing the lag most (typing, highlighting, switching pages, scrolling), and about how big is the doc or how many pages?
2) What device + browser are you on (and does it happen on other browsers too), and does it “jump between pages” on its own or after a specific action like clicking a link/outline item?

Nik Payne (Gamma design) Hi Nik. First of all, thank you for the speedy reply. The document is quite large at about 81 pages and counting. Im redesinging a teaching manual. That said, I've also expirenced this roblem with much smaller documents. The lag is global. Every action you mentioned is problematic. I use Safari on an imac.This morning it stopped me from editing all together and I got a red error message about system updates. I frequently get a message from my side that says the site is large and using too much memory but my memory seems ok on my end. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
