I need to edit and divide the index automatically generated to more than 1 page so the items don't get cut off when I export to PDF

I believe the question here is how to create an index on second page which helps to attached with all the headings and chage the index page number based on the pages moving up or down?
Just like other document softwares where we can give a reference to title and creating an index page.

- Your content is only being generated into one single page
or
- You have multiple pages that are too long/have too much content
