Hello Gamma Support Team,
I would like to report a recurring UI issue I’ve encountered while editing in Google Chrome.
The Problem:
When I try to select a sentence or a paragraph within a text block, the selection very often 'jumps' from the text itself to the entire block/card container. This happens constantly and is quite frustrating because I often accidentally delete the entire block instead of just the text fragment. I have to frequently use CTRL+Z to undo and re-enter the block, which significantly slows down my workflow, especially when working with important information.
What I Like:
I want to emphasize that I find it very convenient to be able to select and copy multiple blocks together with their frames (to move them to another page). I use this all the time in my work. I value this functionality and definitely want to keep it.
My Suggestion:
Is it possible to refine the selection sensitivity within a single block without breaking the mass-selection feature? Perhaps increasing the 'invisible' padding or the 'safe zone' after the text would help. The goal is to make the selection jump to the entire frame only when the cursor specifically targets the empty space around the text, rather than being triggered so easily while highlighting the letters.
Is this a known issue, and are there any plans to refine this behavior?
