Improve internal linking for sits
Marc Blaauw
When I create a web page and I have a Table of Contents in it. I need to be able to click a hyperlink in that page that will send me directly to the page wanted without having to use a external url. I know Gamma is able to do that, but it is not an easy process. And sometimes it does not work. What works are what Gamma calls I think bookmark label or anchor points/links. I have included a sample of what it what the link should look like if done correctly. I want Gamma to have a command that tells the system to use those links or bookmarks instead of it traditional url or card name. This portion takes up 70% of my time in creating a Gamma.

Hey Marc Blaauw, thanks for the detailed writeup and the screenshot. Totally hear you on this eating 70% of your build time.
I’ll pass this to the team as a request for a simpler, more reliable way to create internal Table of Contents links using anchors/bookmarks (instead of external URLs or card names), ideally via a dedicated command or toggle.
Quick question so we can make it actionable: when it “sometimes does not work,” what happens on click (nothing, jumps to the wrong spot, opens a new tab, etc), and is this in the published webpage view or while editing?
