i added a pptx file with images already in it, and was told gamma would create a nice formatted version of these slides. instead it created a completely false report. what a ridiculous result

Voilà plus d'une semaine que je n'arrive pas à importer des documents pour mes présentations, je suis toujours obligé de faire du copier coller du contenu.

For me it happened as well. Instead of making a nice format, it just messed up the graphs, and created too much text (in small font) that I did not need. Unfortunately I got a pro version, hoping it will work better. It doesn't, but I can't even cancel

To fix this issue, could you help me understand what's happening? What type of documents are you trying to import (Word, PDF, Google Docs)? And what happens when you try - do you see an error message, or does nothing happen?

When I import a Word or PowerPoint document containing text and images for my presentations, I receive an error message indicating that the import has failed.

I'm not sure what garbage you've incorporated to import PowerPoints but it's useless. All I want to do is take an existing PowerPoint, edit it with your tools, publish it, and keep the previous design as a template for future Gammas. Why are you making it so hard?

Ужасно работает процесс извлечения информации из файла. Пока настроишь программу промтами, закончатся все поинты, а потом ещё и переделывать после неё. Короче идея сервиса огонь, а реализация пока полнейшая шляпа.

I have tried to upload my teaching slides (plain, as those are) from ppts (trying to replace canva) but gamma does not import the proper graphic, logos, proper design. I mean we are paying a good amount of money for your software and it does not work well.

Thanks Alex. Yeah, unfortunately our import quality still needs a decent amount of work. We're a small team of ~30, and have not been able to prioritize it in the short term, but I will share your feedback with the team

Nik Payne (Gamma design)thanks for the response. we do understand the constrains but if we are looking to replace our current provider with gamma (which, by the way, is more expensive and does less) then we do have some expectations. Catching up with your competition and delighting your current customers should be a priority.

I want gamma to be able to upload documents in PDF form that contain text and images and even columns. example: we have a document of exam questions that students must complete.
