Improve card headers and footers

when placing a footer with "centralized" location, it does not stay centralized when adding an accent image on left or right. it moves away from the center. That is not good for presentations. Please amend it.

Bug Report: Header/Footer Logo Positioning Issue with Diagrams
Jingjing Zhang
Problem: When using diagrams on cards, logos placed in header/footer sections (specifically bottom-left) move from their fixed positions instead of staying locked in place as designed.
Current Setup: Header/footer is correctly configured with logo in bottom-left corner (as shown in Card headers & footers settings).
Expected Behavior: Logo should remain fixed in bottom-left corner regardless of diagram content, with diagram staying in background.
Actual Behavior: Logo shifts position and appears to interact with/be affected by diagram layout, sometimes appearing partially cut off or overlapping diagram elements.
Impact: This defeats the purpose of headers/footers as fixed positioning elements and creates unprofessional-looking presentations.
Suggested Fix: Ensure header/footer elements maintain absolute positioning and proper z-index layering so they stay locked in corners independent of card content layout.

Thanks for the feedback!

Change color and font on card header and footers

Ideally it would be the flexibility to change specific words, but as a template it's the entire footer/header. In cases where there is a dark background and the footer is black it's unreadable. I'd like to be able to change to white as example so items like page number are readable.

Ian Atkinson: thanks! Text color should invert automatically on dark backgrounds so I wonder if that's a bug. Do you have a screenshot of where contrast is poor?

Hey Ian. Is the ask to change the default color and fOnt, or to be able to highlight a specific word and make it red?
If it’s both, which is more important to you?

Update display behavior of card headers & footers
Megan Grennan
I had a call this morning where the prospect was sharing how important it is to have a logo overlap an image (like a header) since their presentations are for clients where they require having the client's logo on the top corner of each slide. Because we don't have this feature, they need to export and re-add in the logos.
When not using Gamma, their designers ensure their images will work with the logo overlay as well.

Hi Alison
Attached is the FibreconX branded ppt template. Ideally could you duplicate it in Gamma please ? The logo needs to be upper right (Gamma doesn't support this). Your help is much appreciated. Regards Art

Art Cartwright: You can put the logo in the top right via card headers and footers! (access via card menu or page stup)

Hi Art Cartwright, could you share a little more about a) what your marketing/branding team's concerns are, and b) what restrictions you're running into?

Improvements to card headers and footers
Alison (Design @ Gamma)
header/footer food for thought:
- would like the ability to swap logo based on card
- additionally, overlap the logo/card # over the image
