I'm very frustrated. I must of asked 10 times to lock the aspect ratio to 16:9. When the AI finally got it, it broke it the next edit I made. Needs a lot of work and it's mistakes are costing me money...

Before the upgrade yesterday this was one of the best and most intutive platforms available- now I would NOT recommend it.

The agent used to be accurate, effective and produced high quality results. It was a remarkable and highly intuitive platform. I was starting to recommend this to so many other creators. Now, since the upgrade, Im embarrassed. The agent has just chewed up 200 of my credits giving made up, highly inaccurate responses, terrible quality and not performed the explicit requests. ive had to delete 3 gammas because they were a complete waste of my time. It wasn't even describing the guiding information accurately - eg I gave it an actual gamma site as a link and it responded saying it was about creative arts and it had NOTHING to do with creative arts.

I used Gamma for one day and it was among the worst experiences I had with AI tools. I am an AI power user. I use quite a lot of tools.
Even simple tasks like fitting an image inside a box become arduous, require multiple prompts. Things that in Microsoft Powerpoint takes split seconds, I spent minutes trying and not succeding.
Gamma is good for someone who wants to show off by typing a pne phrase prompt to create a shallow top-line presentation.
But for someone trying to present something with precision and control, Gamma is definitely NOT the tool to use. 
I really hope you'll improve your product. It has potentials, but right now the AI agent doesn't really understand the requests and spit out something just for the sake of it.
My current rate of your tool is 1 out of 5. The 1 is because you can indeed load a long prompt and it will create something remotely similar to what you asked (PS prompt written with an LLM, so highly precise in instructions).

I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to share my concern regarding the recent performance of the Gamma AI agent. It has not been formatting slides properly or following my instructions accurately, which has been quite disappointing. As a loyal customer who has relied on Gamma for a long time, this experience leaves a poor impression.
I would really appreciate it if you could look into these issues and fix any existing bugs. Additionally, if there are specific guidelines, examples, or tips for creating well-formatted slides that the AI follows effectively, please share them — it would help me make better use of the platform.

It would also be helpful to understand what types of requests were not successful. Screen recordings or screenshots would be great, if you have them!

Alison (Design @ Gamma) Hi Alison. I was trying to reduce an image, remove the white background and move it on the side of a box and it was not possible.
I asked 3 times to the AI to reduce the size of the card to fit the rest of them in the deck while resizing the elements to fit in the new size, and it wouldn't do it.
A simple "add a row and a cell centering it in the middle" (where the rows above have 2 columns (so basically spanning the cell below over 2 columns) wouldn't do it.
To be honest, I can't be bothered to take screenshots.
For now I will close the account. maybe wait 1 year to see if you guys improve and reconsider the tool.
While it is great to create entire decks with prompts, I think you shouldn't compromise on giving a simple user experience for the most basic actions in a deck like moving an element around the slide.

Gamma was originally built with human users in mind and we're working every day towards closing the gap between what is possible for a person to do and what is possible for our AI to do. It sounds like this isn't the right fit for you today, but we appreciate you sharing this feedback in spite of that!

AI Edit won't generate speaker notes anymore

Before the agent function was added, I was able to click the AI edit for the "CARD" and give directions as to the type of speaker notes I wanted generated. Now, I can't! The AI generate button that is actually in the notes section generates what it wants without allowing me to give instructions as to the tone and style.

The new Agent is a terrible feature right now. Makes Gamma hard to use!

The new feature you just added, the AI Agent, well it's terrible. Only a few days ago, I asked inside the presentation to add an image at the top, left or right and it added an image to the card, where I'm entering the prompt. Now!? Your agent starts going all over the presentation and starts randomly adding new cards. Right now, it is a terrible feature that destroys the great reputation and ease of use of Gamma!!!
