Hello, I notice that when creating card decks using the AI feature, oftentimes the imagery that comes up is of a white male or female - which seems to be the "standard". I usually have to specific in asking for a diverse group of people and/or person. I am bringing this to the production and design team to address my concern and provide potential changes.

Thank you for posting this! It is an issue I have with a lot of AI defaulting to white men, women, and children who are thin. I have to overprompt to include age, race/ethnicities, height, weight, ability/disability, glasses, etc....

Hey TyEisha Lawson, really appreciate you calling this out and being specific. You’re right that “defaulting” to white people is a real problem, and I’ll make sure this gets in front of our product and design folks.
Quick question so we can pass something actionable along: when this happens, are you seeing it mostly in a particular kind of deck/topic (like business, education, healthcare), or pretty much across the board?

Nik Payne (Gamma design) thank you for your attention to this matter! The decks I have created have been centered around mental health and wellness. I am attaching some screenshots of the presentation that I am currently working. This presentation is tailored towards individuals working in public education, to discuss burnout and stress. The images provided are misaligned with the diversity experienced in many public education settings in the US and just in general.
