Gamma AI Experience - Detailed Feedback
I've spent around 3+ hours today exploring Gamma, and overall, I'm really loving the experience. However, as a user, I've encountered a few issues I'd like to share, particularly regarding image generation:
  1. Color Modification Challenges:
When I generate an image using the Google X image generator (for example, in pale green), and then try to modify it by changing the color (say, to pale blue), the system often generates an entirely new image instead of simply adjusting the color of the existing one.
  1. Lack of Image Persistence:
There seems to be no way to maintain the original generated image while applying specific changes. Each modification request tends to result in a completely new image, which can be frustrating when you like certain aspects of the original.
  1. Inconsistent Results:
Sometimes, when asking for a simple change, the AI produces a drastically different image that doesn't retain the key elements of the original. This unpredictability can make it challenging to refine images to your liking.
Suggestions for Improvement:
  • Implement a feature to allow users to lock certain aspects of a generated image while modifying others.
  • Enhance the AI's understanding of incremental changes vs. complete redesigns.
  • Provide more granular control over specific elements within generated images.
Despite these issues, I'm impressed with Gamma's capabilities and excited to see how it evolves. The potential for streamlining creative workflows is immense, and I look forward to future updates addressing these points.
