From Community: Request for PPT generation via Gamma ID

I don't think this is possible, but it would be great if you could get a PPT or PDF file from a Gamma ID, not the Generation ID by API.
Right now we want to generate a Gamma, review by human, then after approved, get the updated PPT file. Right now we can only use the Generation ID which does not include the manual fixes.

1). Yes, right now the generation ID uses only the original creation, but not manual edits created afterward.
I thought after you created a Gamma it returned a Gamma ID in addition to a Generation ID, but now im only seeing the Generation ID.
So basically if the Generation ID used the latest version of the Gamma which included manual edits, that would work. Or provide a separate Gamma ID which would include the edits, and the Generation ID would always be the original. something to that effect.

Totally get the workflow you’re after. Just to make sure we capture it right: after a human edits/approves a Gamma doc, you want the API to export PPT/PDF from the final Gamma ID (so it includes those manual changes), not from the original Generation ID.
A couple quick questions so I can pass this to the team with the right details:
1) Is the Gamma ID you mean the doc/page ID from the URL, or something else you’re storing internally?
2) Do you need this as a synchronous “export now” call, or would an async job + webhook/callback work for your pipeline?
