From Community: Request for Accurate Stats and Verification Links in Decks

Request one: Improving the AI data that is used in the decks. I have put in accurate statistics only to realize that they got changed in the creation of the deck. And, I have rare had a statistic quoted in a deck by accurate. I get everything in the deck, then I go and ask Claude to find links and it comes back as saying "cannot be found". My request is two fold - accurate data be listed and also that links be included for verification. At the moment any slide that has stats, I download it to keep the formatting, then I go away and find accurate stats and links using Claude and then drop those into the deck. Depending on what I am doing this can get time consuming. Thanks!

- Speaker notes would be ideal. They are then aligned with the slide for easy reference, but they are not taking up slide space as most times I am not listing the source, but I do check everything to make sure that it is accurate and also so that if I am asked about it, I can provide the source. Quote and link to the source. Or at least, the source. I find that AI often infers things from data that is not accurate, so it is critical to be able to double check.

Hi Nik - My apologies for the delay in the reply. I just realized I never did. Oops.
- I have put in accurate stats into the page and then when I asked it to generate a new layout, it changed them to stats that were not accurate - but close enough to what I had put that I didn't realize they had been changed until I was going through my deck and when "hey, that isn't what I said". It had kept one of five, but changed four.

Culture Coach thanks for the super clear writeup. Totally get how painful it is to have stats change under you and then have to do the download, re-research, paste-back dance. I’ll pass this to the team.
Quick couple questions so we can scope it right:
1) When you say you “put in accurate statistics” before deck creation, where are you entering them (prompt, outline, pasted text, uploaded source), and do they change during generation or later when you edit/regenerate?
2) For verification links, would you want citations inline on the slide, in speaker notes, or a sources section at the end (and should it include quote + date accessed)?
