From Community: Proposal for Built-in Gamma Prompt Generator Feature

I want Gamma to have a built-in “generate a prompt” feature - something that takes messy input and turns it into a clean, Gamma-optimized prompt.
Right now I'm using ChatGPT - I leave Gamma, ask it to structure chaotic thoughts/notes into a good prompt, then come back and generate

Hey Nick - left an example here: https://gambassadors.slack.com/archives/C04702QJ39N/p1771619144781599
IMO the inputs are short one-liners or quick bullets, not full context. Not meant for raw transcripts - Gamma already handles large copy-pastes well. This is for generating a stronger prompt to go along with eg. a transcript.
For example, if I just say “turn this into slides” vs using a more structured prompt (like in the comment), Gamma performs much better. So I’m imagining an in-app prompt generator: I type a few rough words -> it generates a solid prompt -> I can edit if needed and continue.

Anjali Surana love this idea — and yeah, bouncing out to ChatGPT just to “clean up” your thoughts into a Gamma-ready prompt is a super real workflow tax.
Quick q’s so we can shape this the right way:
- What kind of messy input are you starting from most often (bullet notes, meeting transcript, brain dump, links, etc.)?
- What’s the ideal output: a single “best” Gamma prompt, or a few prompt options (e.g. “deck,” “doc,” “one-pager”) you can pick from?
If you’re up for it, a screenshot or quick Loom of your current copy/paste flow (and an example of a before/after prompt you like) would be insanely helpful — I’ll pass it to the team.
