From Community: Need help creating fillable PDF workbook in Gamma

I can do that in Adobe Illustrator, but for Gamma, the outputted PDF is not fillable. Being fillable is a requirement for the material. Can this be done, or is there a way to create fillable fields in Gamma that survive the conversion to PDF? See the link to the output we are trying to create. Amanda, this is the project that I mentioned to you separately.

Hey Deepak Bhootra, thanks for the super clear context (and the link). Totally get why “fillable fields in the exported PDF” is a hard requirement for a course workbook.
Just to make sure we pass something actionable to the team: when you say fillable, do you mean standard PDF form fields (text inputs, checkboxes, dropdowns) that work in Acrobat/Preview? Or is it enough if it’s fillable in a specific LMS/tool after upload?
Also, are you hoping Gamma can create those fields directly, or would a workflow where you export from Gamma and then add form fields in another tool be acceptable as long as the layout stays intact?

Nik Payne (Gamma design) .. see the pdf attached. We are looking for something similar where we have fields that can be updated and the the pdf saved with the filled information. this is a simple sample. But yes, requirements can get complex around radio button selections, checkboxes, dropdown but fo rme the predominant ask was what you see in the attached pdf ....text boxes for entering information that can be saved. To your question. Yes if I can it across to Acrobat for polishing or finalization may work but since you are converting to pdf in Gamma was wondering if the PDF conversion could be smarter.
