Feature Request: "Click-to-Type" anywhere on a card (like in MS Word)

Hi Support Team,
I’m back with another suggestion! The more I use Gamma today, the more I see opportunities to make it даже better.
I’d like to suggest improving the "Click-to-type" behavior. Currently, the cursor stays within existing blocks. If I want to start typing in the empty space further down a card, I have to press "Enter" many times to reach that spot.
It would be much more intuitive, similar to Microsoft Word, if I could simply click anywhere on the empty canvas of a card and have a text block created there automatically.
I understand that Gamma works on a block-based system, which is different from classic text editors. If this feature is technically possible without negatively affecting the overall block structure of Gamma, it would be a fantastic addition. If it would conflict with the core system, then of course, I wouldn't want to compromise Gamma’s stability.
Could you please share this feedback with your product team?
Thank you for your help!

Hey Travel Agent, this is super thoughtful feedback, thanks for spelling it out. I’ll pass the “click anywhere in empty space to create a new text block” idea to the product team.
Quick couple questions so we capture it right:
1) When you click in empty space, should the new block land exactly at that vertical spot (Word-style), or just append a new block at the end?
2) Are you mostly hitting this on text-heavy cards, or also when there are images/layout elements on the card?

Or if you have any examples of layouts you want to achieve that would be extra helpful
