Excel integration ask from all Finance folks- Help us stop using Claude PPT :)
Yoav Cohen
Im a CFO - Why don't you integrate to Excel? im currently using Claude in excel to talk to PPT Excel (and so do all my finance peers).. seems like this would be a major unlock if you enabled that to get all the finance folks integrated to gamma instead of claude PPT which kinda sucks! much love

Hey Yoav Cohen love this ask, and appreciate the finance-specific context. I’ll pass it to the team.
Quick couple questions so we don’t build the wrong thing:
1) When you say “integrate to Excel,” what’s the exact workflow you want in Gamma (import a model/table, keep it synced, or push updates back into the spreadsheet)?
2) What’s the main job you’re using Claude-in-Excel for today (turning a sheet into slides, updating charts, narrative commentary, something else), and what’s the most painful part of that flow right now?

Nik Payne (Gamma design) - hi nik, im also connected to Gamma as an investor so happy to help on an ongoing basis on this as this is close and dear to me. The entire excel spreadsheets i make are done with the help of Claude on excel (I chat with Claude on Excel just like i chat with the gamma ai assistant when creating a slide). Then when i want the excel data translated to Powerpoint, I tell Claude Excel to connect with Claude PPT and they talk to eachother with my help and the magic happens.. but i feel like Gamma can make it more magical than PPT. The main use case would be for Finance teams, and any analytical mind living in Excel - they start there, and then want to create a story from it to their board, mgmt, investors, etc - Graphs and Narrative together. Anyone serious in Finance now uses Claude to create their Excels, and most of them connect it to PPT to create their slides. Currently on Gamma, i am unable to connect or upload the excel to live on Gamma - I think this is a mega use-case for Gamma that I would like to help with - Please let Grant know or the CFO / anyone else. cheers
