Esperanto kiel elir-lingvo

In Speaker's Notes, renders as j^ (other Esperanto letters are correct). Slides are displayed correctly. Windows + Chrome, no custom fonts.
Esperanto is still not served as the starting language. I ask you to change the policy and give Esperanto full rights, because of this handicap I have trouble getting good results.

Hey Boguslaw Ubik-Perski, thanks for the super specific report, that’s really helpful. We’ll pass this to the team.
Quick couple questions so we can pin it down:
1) When you say “Notatki prelegenta”, is it specifically the speaker notes view/editor where “ĵ” turns into “j^”, and does it happen while typing or only after it renders/saves?
2) Can you share a tiny copy/paste sample that reproduces it (like a single line with “ĵ” plus a few other Esperanto letters), and confirm your Windows version + Chrome version?
On Esperanto as an output language, totally hear you. What part of your workflow is getting worse results because of it (generation quality, spelling/diacritics, hyphenation, something else)?

Hi Nik,
Thank you for your follow-up and for looking into this.
I would like to clarify that the issue is not only about individual characters like “ĵ”, but also about the lack of Esperanto as a selectable output language.
Currently, when I create a new presentation in Gamma, the system automatically generates content in Polish (in my case), even if my intention is to work entirely in Esperanto. This creates a significant workflow problem.
My use case is teaching Esperanto (for example to learners in Japan), so I need the content to be generated directly in Esperanto from the start. At the moment:
- I receive Polish text instead of Esperanto,
- I then have to translate everything using the system AI
This results in a large and unnecessary amount of extra work.
Esperanto is already supported in Gamma, but without being available as an output language, it is very difficult to use Gamma efficiently for this purpose.
System info:
- Windows 11
- Chrome (latest version)
Example text (for diacritics testing):
"Ĵaŭde ŝi ĝoje aŭskultis ĉi tiun frazon: Ĥo ĥo!
Ĉu vi ŝatas ĵazon?” Ĉĉ Ĝĝ Ĥĥ Ĵĵ Ŝŝ Ŭŭ
From a user perspective, it would be extremely helpful if Esperanto could be selected as the default output language.
Best regards,
Bogusław Ubik-Perski
