Esperanto as a supported Gamma interface language.

Please add Esperanto to the supported languages of the Gamma interface. As a user creating presentations for international Esperanto congresses, I need full support for this language in the interface and AI functions.

Hiya Boguslaw Ubik-Perski, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- How frequently do you use Esperanto in your presentations, and what specific features would you prioritize for Esperanto support?
- Are there any particular challenges you face when using Gamma without Esperanto support that we should be aware of?
- Would you be willing to participate in a beta testing program for Esperanto language support if it becomes available?

Hi Nick,
Thank you so much for your message — I’m really glad to share my experience!
I use Gamma every single day, together with my wife. We’re both Esperantists and truly love this program. I’ve already created and presented two Esperanto presentations using Gamma — one live during my recent visit to Japan, and another online for the Korean Esperanto community. Both were warmly received, and now I already have requests for more lessons and talks.
Just yesterday, I also created two new courses in Gamma — Esperanto for Beginners and Esperanto for Slightly Advanced Learners — designed especially for Japanese students who are new to Esperanto. Later, I translated the Japanese version into Polish, creating a full Polish edition of the basic Esperanto course as well. I’m genuinely thrilled with how well Gamma supports this kind of creative, multilingual work.
We like the platform so much that today we subscribed to the Gamma Plus annual plan — we plan to use it daily for our educational and creative projects.
I’m very impressed with Gamma — it’s a wonderful and inspiring tool.
However, I’ve encountered a few challenges related to Esperanto support:
When I prepare a project in Esperanto, Gamma sometimes automatically switches to Polish or English, so I need to experiment with special prompts to keep the slides fully in Esperanto.
Occasionally, the AI chat produces small inconsistencies or awkward phrasing in Esperanto.
The image generation tool struggles with Esperanto symbols — for example, when I ask for the Esperanto flag (a green field with a white square and a green five-pointed star), it often produces incorrect versions, such as a six-pointed star or entirely different colors. It’s also quite difficult to get the right result even after multiple attempts, so I often need to upload my own images instead.
Additionally, Gamma currently cannot display Esperanto diacritics correctly (the special letters ĉ, ĝ, ĥ, ĵ, ŝ, ŭ), which are essential for the language.

Still, I’m very happy with Gamma and see great potential for growth. I also actively promote it among Esperantists worldwide, because I believe this tool can truly help our international community communicate and create more effectively.
And if you ever decide to introduce Esperanto language support — I promise I’ll do my best to spread the news across the global Esperanto community. Maybe it won’t make a huge impact, but every voice counts, and small ripples can travel far — that’s how real connections grow.
And regarding your last question — yes, I would be honored to join a beta testing program for Esperanto language support. Esperanto has been part of my life for over 50 years; it’s the language that changed my life and still inspires me every day.
This message is also a small sign of what AI can truly be — a bridge that helps people connect beyond languages.
Thank you again, Nick, for your interest and for helping make Gamma even better.
Warm greetings,
Bogusław Ubik-Perski
