Ideally it would be the flexibility to change specific words, but as a template it's the entire footer/header. In cases where there is a dark background and the footer is black it's unreadable. I'd like to be able to change to white as example so items like page number are readable.

Ian Atkinson: thanks! Text color should invert automatically on dark backgrounds so I wonder if that's a bug. Do you have a screenshot of where contrast is poor?

Hey Ian. Is the ask to change the default color and fOnt, or to be able to highlight a specific word and make it red?
