Block spectator navigation during the presentation
mehdi ATTAR
Have an option to “force” viewers to follow the presenter (prevent them from navigating the presentation)
Otherwise great tool thank you very much:)

Lock "meeting link" so that audience always follows presenter in present mode

Love this tool!
Currently, audience members have to manually click my avatar and select “Follow Presenter” to stay synced with the slide I’m on. However, this can be confusing or inconsistent during sessions—especially with larger groups.
I’d like to request a Presenter Lock feature that allows me to automatically sync all viewers to my current slide, without requiring them to manually opt in. This would ensure a smoother, more focused experience during live presentations
Is this on your roadmap? I’d be thrilled to see this added soon.
Thanks so much for the great tool!

Great feedback! This is something we've thought about internally as well.
A few questions —
- When you present in Gamma, are you primarily doing so virtually (ex: Zoom)?
- How do you currently share out the link for your gammas?
- Do you use card notes/presenter view while you're presenting?

Alison (Design @ Gamma) hi! I just got the subscription, so I have created slides, but I haven't presented with it yet. I will present next week, though, so I was practicing with its functionalities and noticed the lack of syncing. I'm likely transitioning some of my presentations to Gamma, and my business is about 70% presenting on Zoom and 30% in person. I was interested in the syncing right away b/c I use Mentimeter (for the interactive polls--which would also be cool for Gamma!), and they give the presenter the option of allowing participants to skip ahead or sync with the presenter.
2) With Mentimeter, I just drop the link into the Zoom chat, or participants use the QR code on their screen to get access. When I present in person, they access via QR code on the big screen. For now, I don't think I will share the Gamma link because I know my audience, and they will skip ahead and get distracted with the content from future slides. I used to be a classroom teacher, so I know how this will go. =)
I like when participants can access the slides for 1) the interactivity, 2) accessibility, in case they need to make anything bigger, and 3) they can take screenshots of important slides if they want to keep them for future reference.
3) I never use presenter view on presenting platforms, or very rarely, anyway. I have a horrible memory, but when I present, I surprisingly do a decent job of remembering everything I have to say.
hope this helps! appreciate your response.
