Wanted to check out gamma to see if it works would for our business. Gamma won't work we can't use our templates, but it seems this feature if behind a paywall. Making gamma inrelevant for us to give it a try.

Jasper Haynes: thanks for the feedback. Generate from template uses the same prompting mechanism as our "remix" feature, so if you have a gamma with your layouts you can test it by "remixing" it

It would be great if we could have "fixed" slides that the AI doesn't edit. E.g. an about us slide and so on.

Scott Bowler: have you tried just including "do not edit the about slide" in your prompt. It tends to be pretty good about this, but maybe it could be more ergonomic

Nik Payne (Gamma design) added to this it would be great if we could have headers and footers on each slide to add logos and legal text - we have a lot of clients looking to use ai for their docs and these two features are what’s holding us back from doing a big push on this

Scott Bowler: When you edit a gamma, you can add "card headers and footers" in the editor, via page setup or clicking the "🎨" icon on a single card

Hey Nick, I love the templates I love gamma. But I think this is such a juggernaut for people who are half creative and half business. I just love it and all I asked for on the templates is a little bit more control. I don't need much and I don't want to complicate the product because I know you have to make it adaptable to the public but the question is how could we do that so I don't know maybe there's a specialized agent that just helps on templates and coaches or something like that.

Can GAMMA create pptr that are not that big in size? I think it strange that a powerpoint of 30 slides with some pictures is already 100 MB - when using the origing ppt form MS that is max 15Kb??
