Ability to draw custom shapes on top of content
Dan Chen
Hey there - Gamma has been a wonderful replacement for PowerPoint so far. However, the one use case where it has fallen short so far has been for business presentations, where I often want to add shapes/call outs/text boxes to specific elements on a graph for example (but I have to do this separate from the graph).
One instance of that happened today, where I would like to be able to draw a red box around March's sales results to make a point - I'm not sure how I can do that in Gamma but it would level up my ability to create compelling presentations significantly.

We're working on a v2 of diagrams, but they allow you to paste in an image (eg. a graph) and draw shapes on top of it

Hi Dan Chen, have you used our diagrams feature/do you have any feedback on them?
Dan Chen
Nik Payne (Gamma design) Hey Nik! Have not - how do I access that functionality?

Dan Chen: Type /diagram to add it via the slash command

Nik Payne (Gamma design) Oh I see - the current implementation is not super useful for me but I think once v2 as described is released that would do the job. I would however prefer to edit the diagram in line with the overall document so I can see how things look proportionally when I have a presentation-ready version
